I am an ACCA member since 2016 with a robust background in auditing, finance, and taxation. My career began at Baker Tilly, where I worked as a Senior Auditor from January 2012 to January 2015. During this time, I gained extensive hands-on experience in studying various business models and assessing their effectiveness through financial audits, contributing significantly to organizational improvement and stakeholder confidence.
In 2014, I had the opportunity to intern at KPMG, further enhancing my auditing and financial management skills. This experience solidified my expertise and broadened my professional network.
In February 2015, I transitioned to a renowned real estate group where I currently lead the accounts, finance, and taxation department. My role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and optimizing financial strategies for the company.
Three years ago, I founded Al-Awan Associates, an independent firm providing taxation, financial reporting, profitability statements, and bookkeeping services to SMEs. Our clients include petrol and gas stations, professionals such as doctors and freelancers, flour mills, and various traders and distributors. Running my firm during evenings and weekends has allowed me to apply my skills to a diverse range of businesses, ensuring they achieve financial clarity and efficiency.
My journey in finance and auditing has equipped me with a deep understanding of different industries and their financial landscapes. I am passionate about leveraging this knowledge to drive financial accuracy and strategic growth for the organizations I work with.

M. Mubasher Awan is a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in audit, taxation, bookkeeping, and advisory services. A member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA), he completed his CA qualification in 2017, following a strong foundation in commerce with a master's degree earned in 2008.
Mubasher Awan began his professional journey at ASC Co Chartered Accountants in 2008, where he steadily rose to the position of audit manager. His time at ASC gave him a comprehensive understanding of audit processes and financial reporting, helping him to refine his skills in leadership and financial strategy.
In 2012, he took on the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a prominent group of industries comprising five companies. Here, he managed financial operations across various sectors, gaining significant expertise in corporate finance, budgeting, and financial planning.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2017, Mubasher Awan founded his own firm, M.M.AWAN & Co. Chartered Accountants, specializing in accounting, bookkeeping, and business consultancy.
